Meg Madison, was born and raised in New York City, and studied film at San Francisco State University. Her photographic work borrows a sense of place and narrative from cinema and is propelled by an investigation of memory and contemporary ritual. Madison has exhibited in The Getty Research Institute, LACMA Education and MOCA Education Departments. Madison serves on the board of Barnsdall Municipal Art Gallery's non-profit LAMAGA.
